Victorian Kart Championship Race Recap – 2025

Victorian Kart Championship Race Recap – 2025

This past weekend, I competed in the 2025 Victorian Kart Championship in the ultra-competitive KA3 Senior Light class. With a massive 40-driver grid packed with national-level talent, it felt more like a preview of Round 1 of the Australian Kart Championship than a state-level event!

The conditions were brutal, with scorching temperatures making the racing even more intense. Qualifying didn’t quite go to plan, leaving me starting heat one from P18, but I was determined to fight my way forward. Over the next three heats, I made up positions, including a strong drive from 18th to 7th in heat two.

Starting 9th for the final, I pushed hard and ran as high as P7, but as the track evolved, my kart gripped up in the heat of battle, and I ultimately crossed the line in P9. With such a deep field, finishing inside the top 10 was a solid result, and we gained valuable data to build on heading into Round 1 of the Australian Kart Championship.

Congratulations to those who made the podium and those who, like me, gave it everything out there. It was an awesome weekend of racing, and I’m already looking forward to the next challenge.

A massive thank you to the Arrow Development Team, my sponsors, and everyone who supports my racing. The grind continues as we prepare for AKC Round 1 in a few weeks!
