Last weekend, we raced in Queensland for Round 4 of the Australian Karting Championship at Ipswich — a fast, flowing track!
After just four practice sessions to learn the circuit and dial in the setup, we qualified on a cold morning amidst the pack in P20 — not ideal, but we knew we had top 10 pace and were ready to fight forward.
Heat Results:
- Heat 1: P20 → P14
- Heat 2 (in pouring rain!): P20 → P8
- Heat 3: Finished P9
- Heat 4: Finished P11
Final: Started P9 and brought it home in P22 after some rough and tumble. Not the race or the finish we or the team were hoping for.
